We don’t have a very good record in Cardiff this season having lost all our games there so far.
However, now is probably as good a time as any to play them with them missing 5 or 6 players, making it difficult for them to put 3 lines together.
We have to start with lots of high energy to tire a short benched team. I know Fox said we are going down on Tuesday, so shouldn’t have ‘bus legs’ as an excuse.
A two goal lead might be needed here.
3-2 Steelers.

Im hoping we can get some silverware this season and i think this competition is our best shot. We have put 8 past the devils in last 2 games so i can see us taking this one, but as we know in hockey a 2 goal lead can soon be wiped out.,,,,

I'm expecting Cardiff to come out with a high level of intensity to get the crowd into the game.
There can be no excuse of bus legs, Tony Smith has backed the players and let them travel down the day before. We need to match the Cardiff intensity and take their crowd out of the game.
Also....Stay out of the penalty box.
I'm guessing Simpson won't be fit, which will be a huge loss, especially at those key faceoffs.
I reckon we'll need a couple of goals to make it through.
