I take Premier Sports principally because they broadcast a huge array of NHL games. However this season there is a new situation. Premier Sports have become the Clan chief sponsors and broadcast their home games a day or too after the actual game. So we seem to have lost live broadcasts of EIHL games. It also feels slightly strange to me that we have a broadcaster sponsoring one of the teams in league. Has the EIHL agreed to to this does anybody know? Are they going to show the playoffs even if (as seemed likely) Clan are not there?
That makes sense then why we heard the angelic tones of Mr Murphy on the stream then. Sure we’ll see/hear the silver fox (Adey) as a co-commentator soonBryan wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2025 4:24 pmI take Premier Sports principally because they broadcast a huge array of NHL games. There was virtually no broadcasts on PS for season 23/24 either, bar the PO Finals. Though very premature to suggest we're "likely" not to be at the weekend, when we have at the helm one of the most successful Cup & Play-Off coaches in the EIHL era. We're both far too hot & cold, and lack the quality to complete in the league this season 100% for sure, but one-offs I give us more than a fair chance. I guess tonight in Nottingham will be the chance to prove it!Bryan wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2025 4:24 pmI take Premier Sports principally because they broadcast a huge array of NHL games. Aaron Murphy joined the Clan's senior staff team last season after the takeover. He is billed the "eyes and ears" of the owner.
