An excellent debut I thought. A very good skater and a well taken goal!

His CV is very good, but I was a little worried by his lack of games recently.

Hopefully fully recovered from his surgery. When Sauce is fit again, there's going to be a real battle for roster spots.

Agree with this. He seems quite offensively minded. I was thinking he may not be match fit but he seemed up for it.

For those that didn't see, he had two tampons up his nose around 30 seconds before he scored... he was getting treated for a bloody nose from an uncalled high stick... ripped them out at the line change and rocketed a laser on goal... what a debut for the guy...

He looked absolutely class - a bigger, more physical Nevvy

Has there been an injury update on Vainio?

In the few games he played he looked a good player, but he hasn't played since mid November.

To my knowledge he's not been put on IR, so I assume the injury isn't likely to keep him out for 3 months or longer.

Was it the reoccurrence of an old injury or something new?
