yeah thats the bit lol

I think the Steelers have done pretty well from the TV coverage this time around, we've already had a home game against the Giants broadcast on TV, the NYE game against the Panthers (always a bonus to get someone who doesn't stream!)

The remaining games listed to be shown are:

15.01 TBC Challenge Cup Semi-Final (First Leg)
22.01 or 29.01 TBC Challenge Cup Semi-Final (Return Leg)
19.02 1930 Guildford Flames vs. Belfast Giants
08.03 1600 Challenge Cup Final
18.03 19:30 Cardiff Devils vs. Coventry Blaze
29.03 TBC Pick of one regular season game (Final Day of RS)

This Wednesday is the CC game against the Clan, and I would imagine that the game on the 29th will also be shown, if we win through that, we would also make an appearance on TV in the final.

Also, on the 29th of March (last game of the season) they have yet to decide who will be shown... but if its a tight race between us and Cardiff, I would imagine we'd get a shot to be on Freesports then too...

So, potentially 6 games involving Steelers on Freesports.

been struggling with the quality of Freesports where i am and after a bit of research - freesports website pointing me to freeview.co.uk - i came across the below so it looks like if you use freeview only like me then it's goodbye freesports next month

It looks like they've chosen the Panthers v Cardiff game for the return leg TV fixture in the challenge cup. I guess I can understand why they've done it with the score lines in both games as they are. Would have been nice to get another Steelers game on the TV tho.

Not that I'd have been in to watch it, I have an event at the arena that night which I'm attending :-P

And not 'Freesports' as such, but didn't think a whole new thread was needed for this.... according to twitter, there will be a weekend highlight package plus a preview of Wednesdays game against the Clan shown on BBC Look North tonight.
