Any opponent wont be easy, but nobody will want to play us and i think the pressure is all on the opposing team as they know we are the better team when on song , so psychologically we have the edge as well,,,,,, im pleased fife have got through, always had a soft spot for fife, think its the history of the club etc... would love them to get to the final alongside steelers

I've seen comments on X about there being no away fans block, which would be surprising. Anyone know if it's true, or just the usual social media jumping to conclusions?

So now confirmed its fife we play, shame for fife as i would of liked them to get to final four. Steelers too much for fife over 2 games, small but small worry is we play at ice sheffield as opposed to arena and hopefully no injuries

Whilst we're likely to play Greenfield in both legs, I actually think we could split goalie duties. Morrone has proved he's more than good enough to be a 1B goalie. In fact if we weren't spoilt be having Greenfield we'd be fairly happy with him I think.
Fully expect a relatively comfortable win over both legs.
Making Fife travel twice also gives us the advantage despite a day's rest in between the two legs.
Fully focused 100% effort required from now on in.

Seeing as how the inevitable "blame the steelers" rants on social media have started, it's worth pointing out that the cause of having to play at Ice Sheffield is in fact GB Hockey and not the Steelers. We are under no obligation to cater for away fans when we can sell out Ice Sheffield several times over and even struggle to fit all the season ticket holders in, several thousand Steeler fans have been hurt by this compared to the 25 or so Fife fans who would have travelled to Sheffield on a Friday. Stop whinging, buy the webcast and watch it at home. As for those who say Steeler fans should be barred from Fife, if Fife can sell out to their own fans then go ahead and do it, far more Steelers fans will travel to Fife than the other way round, I know who it will hurt most.
One Flyers "fan" has already been banned from here for a post that was offensive, inhuman and given the AJ/MP situation potentially a criminal matter. That post has been moved but retained for evidence if requested by the authorities along with their email address and IP address.

Personally I can’t really agree with this and think it’s a poor show not to leave at least a few rows for away fans.

Myself didnt get a ticket so am watching webcast, 4 of us watching for £15 so works out good value
