First chance to bounce back from a poor result from wednesday night against Cardiff.

We go into this needing 2 wins from reaining 7 games and 10 points in front of Cardiff.. :wonder:

Cardiff play Nottingham tomorrow night! 24th March and then Belfast 27th March, then us at home on the 30th March... :peek:

An easy win against a team who have almost less than half the points we have gained so far. Has there ever been such as gap as 39 points between us and Panthers?

Even if we play the same as we did against Cardiff we'll still win.

Normally I would of course be saying play Morrone, but he won't be match fit now so may as well stick with Greenfield.

4-2 Steelers.

Just my opinion but Morrone, Vinnell & Harper all see Ice time this weekend & rest some bodies, what's the point in having the luxury we have & not taking full advantage.

There are no easy wins, there are games you expect to win because you have better players who work harder but they are never "easy". Fail to match an opponents work rate or stop following the way the team has been asked to play and you will lose. Games that look easy are because the players have worked hard.

I look at it differently. If 100% is our very best. We can beat Panthers at 60%. Easy win :D

I agree Mark, just take a look last Saturday, we weren't on our game and were lucky to get away with it against an under strength Panthers team.

I'm not taking anything for granted. If we're on our game and playing at 100% no team in this league can live with us, but over the last few weeks those sorts of performances have been few and far between.

I still fancy us for a GS, but it only happens if we're close to our best.

I really hope you are right, but the last one against a weakened Panthers team was not easy - even with home ice advantage

Greenfield starts.

I can't say I'm impressed with the tinkering of the forward lines. We had a bad day at the office, but generally the lines have worked well, this feels like a bit of unnecessary panic.

I guess we see what happens, but there was a lot of this in the 2nd half of last season and we know how that went.

I'm hoping on line 3 it will be Simpson and/or Allen taking faceoffs rather than Whistle.

A strong 4th line with Neumann, Nicholls and Shudra.

Panthers with only 13 imports and 4d of which 2 are Brits.
