Boxing Day Home Game - Extra Seats?

With Boxing day already 5k + sold tickets, wouldn't it be a good idea to order some extra seating?
Be great to see the attendance break 10,000.

While I'd love to see it there needs to be some questions asked first. Does the seating even still exist ?, Is there time to erect and dismantle around other Arena events, How much would it cost/will it be profitable ?, and how far ahead does the decision need to be made to allow for time to sell the extra tickets.
I've been to most of the games where extra seating was used, fantastic atmosphere but lots need to happen behind the scenes for it to happen.

I agree there will need to be some type of feasibility study. I wonder if it would likely to be cost prohibitive?
Perhaps with the extra revenue of say 500 or so people the arena might be persuaded to go halves for example cost wise. A simple google of temporary arena seating comes up with plenty of options if the actual original seating is no longer available. Some with very little lead time to install and take back down.
The arena have done it plenty of times before, so I'm sure it's more than possible with some effort.
Be great to see though.
I've only seen it once and that was for the B&H Cup final against Newcastle.

From what I recall we've had two types of temporary seating.
There was the fairly simple structure which they used regularly back in the Heineken League days. I would guess that had about 500 seats and may have even been wheeled in and out.
Then there was the much more substantial scaffolding structure which I'm guessing was made up on site and probably cost a lot of money. That was the one used for the B&H Final and I think Sky paid for that.
I would think the former is a possibility if we're close to a sell-out weeks in advance of the game, but would assume the latter is cost prohibitive.

If the Steelers can sell out by 1st December there will be extra seating going in. But it will be a big ask to shift that many tickets IMO

Hope we’ve ordered those extra seats. I’m sure we’d fill them.

Just had a look at the stats page and now know when my first ever game was.
15/3/92 against Solent. I remember because I think it was our biggest win ever (30 - 4).
I was physically drained at the end after all the woo woos
