Hockey's back - opening weekend this weekend (albeit a weekend of friendlies)
Thoughts on how it will go?
Good work out and no injuries is enough for me. Hope both the import netminders share the games
Looking forward to seeing Ciampini and Allen perform this weekend.

Yeah get the legs going in a game situation, introduce the new guys to the Panthers and their rink early in the season, build some line chemistry, get both goalies some game time - a couple of wins would be lovely but not the end of the world.
Definitely excited to see the new guys I would list them all but as there's so many I won't bother

Also I like to see what early lines we go with, as Fox has said he has some pairs in mind but will be interesting to see if camp has solidified or resulted in some tweaks or potential swaps with the other winger. I'm still going with:
Allen-Neumann-Ciampini
Pitule-Raska-Latal
Dowd-Connolly-Mosey
McNally-Whistle-Jono
Petgrave-Piche
Nevalainen-Jones
Schulze-Davey
Greenfield / Ostlund
Warburton / McLaughlin

I think that’s the lines I’d start with, maybe swapping McNally and Mosey.
In terms of score, I’ll go for a 4-2 loss on Saturday and a 3-1 win Sunday

Disappointing there's no Connolly tonight.
I'm getting the webcast. My main interest is our centres, because I think that's where our season will be won or lost.
I think we'll be fine at the back end, but all the risky signings for me are at centre. If they're the real deal, we should be fine.

No expectations for me in pre-season exhibition games. Just an opportunity to get the legs going and for a chance for Fox to try out a few different line combos.
Result isn’t important but a look at the team in a game situation is very valuable for me.
