So all being well, I’m going to take the good lady to NY for her birthday.
She’s new to hockey and loving the Steelers, so I have picked up a pair of Rangers tickets for a game whilst we are there…

Would be kinda nice if we could look the part, I don’t think my old Predators Jersey would go down that well.

So I’ve been Googling where I could get jerseys, but it’s not as easy as you would think…. (At least for reasonable money).

Ideally would like embroided ones rather than the printed fanatics branded variety.

Any suggestions?

You could always go in Steelers jerseys, could end up being a talking point with other fans.

NHL store in New York, covers pretty much all NHL teams to take a pick from and are all authentic in their finish, by all means save up and be ready to take a hit for the jersey but it’ll serve it’s purpose

Icelocker in Nottingham often has jerseys and there's usually an store outside the Nottingham Arena for the playoff weekend I think from USA Sports. I went to a Ducks game in my Steelers shirt and bought a Ducks shirt at the Honda Centre store. We also went to a Bolts game and bought jerseys at a Reebok outlet store in Florida.

I'm with Shaun on this one.
Hockey fan since 1980, Steeler since day one.

Me and the kids took Steelers jerseys when we went about 12 or 13 years back. Went and did the MSG tour, and the guide saw the shirts, and mentioned, they just won your league haven't they.
Was gobsmacked. Obviously the guide was a world wide hockey fan.

As for the NHL shop off Times Square. Great place to browse about, but be aware, it ain't cheap.

Thank you all for the suggestions - might just have to get them in the states. Awesome that they recognised your shirts at MSG - might have to take some over ;-)

Might take a look round the NHL Store on Times Square. I was never under the illusion of getting them cheap somewhere, but some of the online pricing is ludicrous! :Partay:
