Sport is a tough business I guess. Teams will recruit the best available players within their budgets.

The Dogs have added David Phillips to their roster.

I enjoyed the game last night, it was good to finally see some live hockey again.

Main reason for watching was to see how Liam Kirk performed. I thought he'd be good, but I wasn't expecting him.to outshine the likes of Ben O'Connor or Ben Lake.

With 4 of the 5 Steeldogs goals, needless to say he was comfortably the outstanding performer on the night. He has good speed and an excellent shot. If he doesn't make the NHL, I'm sure the Steelers would love his services.
