So as the title of the thread says: Forum Changes and ongoing work is in progress, any thought or critique, please use this thread to discuss.
Update: The forum is now back up and running in a similar albeit basic version of its old self...

oh and yes I am aware of the lack of Tapatalk access at the moment, its on admins list to solve but its always a pain in the backside so it may take a while (not that it should)

Just to add it is a Tapatalk issue not mine, This version of the new phpBB software was only released a few days ago, and it was the whole bloody issue in the first place that led to the forum to go down, as Mark was in the process of updating to the new version..
So we need Tapatalk to update their plugin software first, before we can get it to work...

I always preferred to just browse the forums using the web browser on my phone, never really got on with Tapatalk.... I have noticed a lack of the thumbs up button tho... is that to be re-instated for when we're in agreement with a post but too lazy to comment

Yeah I will get on to that at some point as it was well used but it same issue as above, the new update will mean some features will be either lost permently due to incompatible coding and me not being able to rewrite the code or different altogether..

That is essentially why this new build will not be a quick process, my illness not withstanding.

All is good.
Considering how it sounds like its been rebuilt from the ground up, I'm impressed with how quickly its back up

So i seem to have got it working but not entirely sure its working fully... had to re-wright some of code...
So
@NinjaBreadMark , I thought I would get you testing it, for some reason the likes are not showing on my tests and I cant
(Rightly) test my own post, so go back and find some of my posts
(i cant like Admin posts) if you can (if I have any

lol) and like them for me... :ugeek: let see if i get some data to work with.. and see if the notifications kick in?
