I'd be happy with a draw here. No more than goal deficit though.

Obviously, ideally any type of lead to take back to Sheffield would be the best scenario.

Glad we rested Greenfield against Coventry, keep him as fresh as possible.

3-3, all to play for in the 2nd leg.

I really don't think there's much between the teams. Wouldn't be shocked if it ends up in OT next week.

Moreso, I'll be hoping for a 2024 semi final 1st leg, where we scored against Coventry after 30 seconds and never looked back!

I watched the highlights of the Panthers win over Belfast on Sunday. The Panthers do like a stretch pass out of defence and used it very well against Belfast, so we'll need to be switched on for that.

This is a good Panthers team and had it not been for injuries to key personnel, I think they would have been right up there with Belfast in the league.

Belfast did have their chances though and on another night could have won that game, so Panthers can be got at.

Hopefully we'll be at our best and can come away from the game still comfortably in the tie. I think the worst we could afford is a 1 goal defeat.....let's stay in the tie for the return leg.

Regards

We seem particularly vulnerable to a breakaway so we really need our D to defend tonight

Still no Tansey. Wonder when he will be back?

In other news, we won’t find out the first finalist just yet.

Well both goals created by dreadful passing in our zone leading to give aways. Then a power play that we ended up largely in our own zone. Not sure what is wrong but this is just terrible
