Rumours he caused serious problems in the changing room and on the ice. Wasn’t he left for family issue originally was we got rid and he did the same in UTE according to there fans.

Assuming Nottingham are guessing but good luck to them if they do sign him. Quality player but….
He did leave abruptly for family reasons and it all went very quiet after that.

If he is a disruptive influence then that's a real shame, because he was undoubtedly a talent, but Fox is right to steer clear if that's the case.

Was there some ill feeling when Golod left, because that's how it comes across?

I see on The Cage there are suggestions he could be going there, although it could be a case of 2 + 2 = 5.

This isn't what I'd heard at all. Second-hand via a club spokesperson I heard it was some sort of mental health issue. The "it all went very quiet after that" will simply be the club extending him appropriate privacy.

The fact he's playing again suggests that's been dealt and he's in a much better place, which I hope is the case, good luck to him!

I remember thinking at the time it was probably a sick relative and we might see him back the following season.

I was a bit disappointed when he signed in Erste League, because he was undoubtedly a talent.

The club have stated the signing Saturday is a new player, so I'm assuming that counts Golod out.

I know he was mentioned a few times earlier in the off season but Danny Katic has signed in Czechia.

Be interesting to see how he does there - might be one we see over here in a couple of years depending on how his time in a top end European league goes.

Also shows the competition EIHL teams have for the higher end ECHL scorers

This is the poorest rumours thread I can ever remember.

All clubs, except Dundee, seem to have done a really good job of keeping their cards close to their chest.

Just the swing player to go for us. I'm sure in his recent interview that Fox suggested it might be sorted by the middle of this week and he was looking for a defenceman who could play as a forward.

Any rumours of the suggested player?

Definitely a very quiet 'open rumours ' year. The ones who do know are the ones who don't shout about it and the leaks have seemingly been plugged to the usual rumour accounts.
