I'm going to take a positive out of this weekend, coming into it the big question is can we could be competitive with Belfast, the answer is a clear yes. They are a good team and we have to play smart to match them but we can, and that's all we can reasonably ask for. This season could come down once again to who gets that vital point on a wet and cold midweek game away at Fife or Dundee.

My positive was that the Saturday game was easily the best game I've seen all season and perhaps the best game I've seen us play under Fox's tenure apart from the CC final in Cardiff.

We have certainly closed the gap to Belfast which is very encouraging, but they were missing a couple of very good players, equivalents of Kristo and say Phillips missing for us for example. Plus only managing to roll 3 lines.

As for Sunday, I felt very disappointed, we had a fantastic chance to come away with all 4 points, which I personally feel was a missed opportunity. Still nothing is won or lost in November and it sets up the return double header nicely.

As you say the cold midweek away game will go some way to deciding the season.

At home, Giants down three imports, perfect opportunity to come away with four points, three at least whilst hopefully keeping Giants to one. Unfortunately seems like they blew it in last night's game which I didn't see.
Have to say very disappointed, a big chance missed but it keeps us there or there abouts.

They lost another 2 players during Saturday’s game, so not sure if they were 4 or 5 imports down. Hence my frustration and disappointment for Sunday’s loss. They were there for the taking.
