It was steady in the studio so I’m guessing the camera used for the game wasn’t up to HD at that speed. Not Steelers fault.

Thought there was no need for Johnathan Fearnley to make that snipe at the end about the £15. Not everyone can afford to or is willing to travel abroad (in COVID times) to see their team. If it’s streamed free elsewhere why not for us too.

I’ve been a season ticket holder for many years along with my wife and grandson. I buy 50/50 and shirt raffle tickets. I support my team. Is it too much to ask that I get to see them play in Europe without be made to feel a Scrooge?

Jonathan usually comes across as a sound decent guy but maybe got that comment wrong.
I think if the club associated guys reflect on it later they will realise they got this one wrong and handled it badly.

Agreed, if we are to take the official explanation at face value then the fans were right to complain initially and the matter was resolved so why the dig ?, if that what he meant by it. There has been much in the media lately using the phrase "institutional" to describe a built in way of addressing issues, it does feel that the Steelers Org is suffering from institutional "chip on the shoulder ism" which older fans will recognise from the very early days when we were the new kids on the block and battles were always us v them whether that was against the ice hockey authorities or other established teams, it's probably what we needed to survive and prosper back then but now we are part of the establishment, if not amongst the leaders of it, so for me it's time we actually took responsibility and set a good example in the way we communicate with our fans instead of behaving like the spoilt kid who throws their dummies out of the pram every time they get corrected on something they did. Come on Steelers , time to be the adult in the room, stop your people attacking the fans.

And @steeler pete , couple of years back we would have had a live commentary from Radio Sheffield with who I consider one of the best Ice Hockey commentators in the business providing the descriptions and I do normally consider the Shudra/Fearnley combo as being the best of the current crop.

The stream was very poor and I'm glad I asked for my £30 back, but I will buy extra 50/50 tickets for the next few games to compensate any addition costs the club might have had to layout for the rights.

Not much interest in this competition by the looks of it.
Ok so not expecting travelling fans to make up substantial numbers but no real interest from local fans so it would seem.

That was the situation in Ringsted a few years back when we last ventured into the competition. With the exception of the game against our hosts, the stadium was very quiet, apart from Steelers fans. Was great fun though.

Shame we've not been able to host recently.
