Kelly always seems to get the blame when games go wrong and Fox is quick to bench him when the inports make mistakes noone seems to bother. It may not off been Kellys best game but you cant fault him for his work ethic and determination where his confidence and game have improved. Where there are imports you have to question?!
Sorry about that. Just sat on my train catching up with result and posts.Rendo wrote: ↑Sat Jan 17, 2026 9:18 pmWell Fox and Smith need to alter how we play because that was garbage. Where is the physicality Tremblay exempt as he was the only one hitting and Cormier the only other player trying for us. The defence is a joke but the forwards aren't much better. Knew I should have saved the £16, the only positive was Belfast were good to watch
I honestly thought we’d have given it a good go. But 7-1 feels embarrassing.

I haven’t seen the games but from what I’ve seen and heard we deserved what we got.
It’s true life goes on but supporters pay a lot of money towards this club (season tickets, home support, fantastic away support 50/50 etc). It’s not unreasonable to be disappointed when you feel some are not giving their best effort. As a season ticket holder I don’t want to see rubbish for the rest of the season, nor do I want to walk away.
I don’t know what’s wrong this season but I suspect it’s a combination of tactics/coaching, underachieving/performing players, luck, loss of confidence.
I don’t expect to see us win trophies now but I do expect to see better.

I watched the last 10 minutes, it was half hearted at best, just watching Belfast skate round us, it was another night of men vs boys.steeler pete wrote: ↑Sat Jan 17, 2026 10:54 pmI haven’t seen the games but from what I’ve seen and heard we deserved what we got.

It's ok saying there are more important things in life than hockey and in the grand scheme of things etc but we pay our money to escape all that for a few hours and enjoy the sport we love.
But when all you are looking at is utter cack then we have every right to moan about it.
It's not quite Thompson level yet but it's not far off.
