In Pete Spencer’s interview with Fox, he confirmed rested following colliding with goal post in Manchester. Hopes to be OK for the weekend with extra rest.

Looked like that was quite painful to be fair.

Plus we'd already qualified before the puck had dropped so there was no sense in risking him. Good call from Fox that. :thumb:

I'm still reliving the game and the previous performances!! How far have we come from previous CHL games, where we would have been lucky to score let alone win??
It was a real battle on Wednesday specially in the neutral zone! there just wasn't any room for either team to play! but we got the job done and the last 5/6 minutes of the 3rd where we were swarming all over their zone was brilliant! a goal there would have been the icing on the cake.
I'm now thinking about the encounter with Kirky and how he/we will feel seeing him on the ice opposite us????
