One thing from the CHL games so far I've loved is when watching on stream, the mic'd up coaches during powerbreaks.

The way Fox communicates with the players is so good. I'd run through walls for a coach like that
I thought this and the last stream against Sparta Prague were very good and I liked both commentators.

Fox throwing the F bombs might not be family friendly whilst listening in, but shows the passion.

The stats shown in between and during the period and period breaks are also very good.

The Steelers stream is the best in the EIHL, but I believe we can learn a thing or two from the CHL streams other than being £12 more expensive!
The bloke can throw around as many F bombs as he likes, he's a god to us at the moment.....

Yeah might not be the most family friendly with Fox on the mic, but love to hear how coaches communicate at different points in the game.

Hopefully we will be getting more advanced stats this year. League game tracker certainly tracked some (like xG) but hopefully can get a few more in and see them mid game/end of periods.

I do think we need to check our camera/picture quality - noticed last season it was a touch behind Cardiff and a couple of others in terms of quality. Apart from that, we do have the best in the league. I'd love to see someone take over in between periods so whilst JJ is having a break, can get more discussion of game etc. Appreciate that this would probably bring cost up though rather than down/stay the same

I have been thinking the same thing. Steelers overall presentation is the best but Cardiff streaming quality is 4k which means a much better picture. Steelers only seems to be 1080p, which is a lot less clear. For £16 it needs to go up to the highest possible quality.

I'm just having a look at a few of our team stats in the CHL.

Top goalscorers
Leavens 3
Juusola 2
Janatuinen 2
Ciampini 2
Vally 2

Most Assists
Janatuinen 3
Cormier 3
Dowd 3

Best +/-
Janatuinen +4
Ciampini +3
Simpson +3
Tansey +3

Blocked Shots
Vally 9
Sauce 7
Cormier 6
Tansey 6

Hits
Tansey 12
Vally 6
Dowd 5

Faceoffs
Dowd 50.85%
Balmas 50.00%
Whistle 48.94%
Simpson 44.64%
Watling 44.00%

I've missed off Shudra and Janatuinen, who are both listed at 100%, because I suspect they only took 1 or 2.

So what does this tell us?

I would suggest Janatuinen is back to full health, age is only a number for Vally and we're not great at faceoffs.

Regards
