TV angle shows one of the referees shaking his head saying no foul, he saw the clear dive.
Then surely, he is a responsibility to speak up?

The only positive from this is that hopefully this is the last time I’ll ever have to see Petgrave in a Steelers jersey.

Feel for Jono. Deserved better than for his career to end this way.

Devils win it in OT.....

2-0 up & blew it.
I don’t think we blew it. You’d expect Devils to push back hard in that 3rd. I think Petgrave could’ve been more aware of Davies rather than watching the puck.

That dodgy call gave the Devils a massive advantage in OT and Petgrave again allowed them to skate in close on Greener who had to cover the low shot. He’s a good player Petgrave but we needed someone to take the body not faff around with the stick.

Get Petgrave on a plane home now.
They're all on a plane home soon, or the summer jobs for the Brits.
For me Petgrave should've been paired with Davey P, the most defensive D man we have, all season.

I know tonight he wasn't, however over the season he's +/- is good, but for me he's another Ben O'Conner.
It's the Coach who picks them and again we grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory, all be it with a helping hand from an shocking call. Not that history will record that.

I think Nevalainen dug Petgrave out of a hole on many occasions.

Game On

Other than greenfield and nevelainen dont see any big game players on this team, players who come to the front and stands up and be counted. Really thought this w/end some of the so called big guns would shine through, but no

Far too soft.and passive in that third period and was keystone cops start to OT from us compounded by a dreadfully soft penalty call.
You make your own luck and congrats to the Devils. I expect them to lose final by 4-5 goals.

You can't continually build up a 2-0 lead like we have over this season & continue to blow it, we did it in Manchester on Friday nightz its the same stupid, idioric plays that dig us into a hole, Neumann coughed up the puck in their zone, 2 seconds later its 2-1.

You don't see Belfast blowing 2-0 leads, hence why they'll be Grand Slam Champions come tomorrow evening.

On a side note, I echo the sentiments by another poster, I'm gutted for Jono, deserved a far better ending to a fabulous career.

We’ve been soft ever since Fox was brought in. Don’t understand why Nevalainen and Mosey was paired together when he’s partnered Petgrave for most of the season.

Sitting back in the 3rd was also a poor strategy.

Same again next season if Fox is still in charge.
