I also think this is a great forum, and well run in a fair and balanced manner by the moderators. I check the forum on a regular basis to find out what is happening especially after games, although I attend all the home games and some away games. Depending where we sit in the arena fans gain different views so its good to be able to discuss our various opinions.
I think its really unfair and unprofessional when DS makes negative comments about this forum which also encourages his sidekicks to join in. I have also heard that M.O'C and others have also made negative comments about this forum in the past which is also very unfair. I really thought we had all drawn a line under the difference of opinions regarding PT leaving, and agreed to a fresh start. After all, we are all supporting the same team, and club. The attendance has improved, just look at the amount of 50:50 and shirt raffle tickets which are sold each game. This is all with out the programmes and the merchandise, let alone the sponsorship. All this would not be achieved without the fans. DS often goes on about how we are all a family, well lets act as one. He needs to puts his differences aside with the moderators, and the same goes for the moderators although they only appear to respond to DS unfair comments these days to defend the forum. Plus the comments by DS's sidekicks need to stop as it is not serving any purpose only causing ongoing mischief.
We all love this team, and the characters in it. AF has done well so far regarding his recruitment of skilled and experienced players so lets hope it continues. We are all so proud to have got to where we are in the standings even if we don't win the league. We have still been in the mix and top of the league for the majority of the season. So come on folks lets all be kind to each other, and put all our efforts in to supporting our team.

Absolutely agree with the comment but the issue isn't with posters on here, it seems to be with Simms and his cohorts. Maybe an open letter/email/tweet to the club or to the offenders may be the best option.

This has been tried , one can only assume that the owner condones this behaviour otherwise the employees involved would have been directed to stop. Users on here have realised that steeltalk admin are not the ones initiating this and that's all I care about.raetiamann wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2020 1:25 pmAbsolutely agree with the comment but the issue isn't with posters on here, it seems to be with Simms and his cohorts. Scuff makes me laugh. He was the most negative poster on here that was constantly against the team before he got banned.
The hypocrisy is unreal

And Him, Stewart, Hitchy and a couple more never had a good word for Simms at all.. But in the interests of fairness, made some valid points and great debate at times,Joesteeler wrote:Scuff makes me laugh. The issues were that they on many occasions were blatently flouting the rules of conduct of the forum, often belittled others opinions and we're aggressive and confrontational. Name calling (happy clappers) (Wall flower) (snow flake) anyone who dare disagree or complain..
SOUND FAMILIAR?

His response was baffling.
I'll put it in layman's terms.
Steeltalk say the sky is blue.
Scuff thinks its blue.
2 people out off 100 say its red
But everyone else says its blue.
He then makes out his point is proven that steeltalk think its red.
Couldn't make it up.
Well.he does and gets a pat on the back for his efforts from the usual suspects.
Still confused...

I personally can't be bothered at my age to get into a tit. Its ridiculous.
It's similar to for example a Panthers fan saying I hate Steelers fans. They have no idea about each individual person.

Having been on here for a good number of years as a far of another club, 99% of posters on here are the same as any others on a club forum, all passionate about their team, and wanting to see them do well. Yes some posts can be rather charged or over the top on occasion, but that’s par for the course especially as folk may post during or right after a match, while they are going through the roller-coaster of emotions from the match. I’ve seen very few posts where that leads to anything genuinely unsavoury.
I didn’t vote for obvious reasons, but I can say when I’ve watched your team they’ve got bags of ability, don’t chuck it until the end, and can quite often score for fun. If not for all your injuries, I suspect you’d have the title warpped up as a formality. Which is as I said earlier in the season, why I’m rather baffled some of your guys get into shenanigans with verbally challenging decisions on a near constant basis at times. The team has far too much skill & talent to be needing to do that.
As for those trying to shoot Steeltalk down, I can only agree with what’s already been said, ignore or block them and carry on with life.
