I didn't think we could win that, missing Saucerman and Whistle, Watling with one arm and Tansey ejected, and of course we are 2-0 down.

I think that’s one of the best team performances I’ve seen under the entire Fox tenure so far

When we went 2-0 down and had quite a bit of the 5 minute penalty still to kill off, I was very worried indeed. Belfast looked very good.

However getting a goal back making it 1-2 going into the period break helped a lot. Watling was outstanding and is a true warrior playing with one arm. Also a special shout out to Vainio who I thought had a very solid debut capped with a goal as well!

Over 8,000 in the arena as well shows how popular the Steelers have deservedly become.

Well done lads, enjoy your day off before arguably our biggest game in our entire history.

At 2 - 0 I said to my mate I thought it was game over.

That's a real character win against arguably our closest rivals.

Belfast will go on a long winning streak at some point, but at least we've given ourselves a bit of a cushion in terms of points.

Also thought when tansey went off it was a case of being overun by belfast,,,,,excellent win by this group and 2 points in the bag. Looking at belfast im not too worried about them being too much of a threat to us this season, expected more from them. The new player am sure is going to be an asset to us over the season.
