Easily the worst game I’ve seen the Steelers play of the season.
A worrying similar pattern of playing poorly in the New Year like last season.
Against a side with 5 D and short benched who played last night and had 200 plus mile journey.
Podcast tonight lads?

That was garbage.
Tony Smith has done a fantastic job of making us the best supported club in the league, but that's no good for the supporters if we're not winning silverware.
Tonight was awful and if it doesn't improve, questions need to be asked of Fox

Is it permitted yet to question the coach, and the big name player Petgrave?
The team continues to flounder playing slow paced, non physical, ineffective hockey for 40-45 mins out of each 60 minute game and the coach is doing cock all about it. Hopeless.

I think it’s totally right to ask the question as it feels like it’s history repeating itself. We blew a tyre last season and also in the Covid Cup. We seem to set off like a house on fire, then end up like Rabbits in the headlights.paul johnston wrote: ↑Sat Jan 21, 2023 9:49 pmIs it permitted yet to question the coach, and the big name player Petgrave?

I feel for Tony too. I’ve given him a hard time in the past. However, you can’t say he hasn’t backed the club and hasn’t supported the coaches he’s had.
I haven’t been tonight and have only been a few times this year, mainly due to work and other interests so can’t comment. However, the patterns are there.

I think most on here would allow me to say I know a bit about ice Hockey, and if you do, then that guys was some of the worst ive ever seen us play and that includes those run of awful games under our best ever coach to stand behind a steelers bench.
Honestly I really can't say what I feel, i need to follow my own rules, so I will sleep on it.. The only positive I can come up with is we can't possibly play any worse tomorrow..

I have had more fun watching paint dry. What an awful game , loosing is ok if all the team turn up and play. Too many trying to be Prima donnas instead of playing for the team. They looked as if they have never played together before. It was pathetic
