With the rumours of signings from other clubs, would we expect the old club to announce a player not returning - as we have done with Ben O’Connor before we announce the signing?

Anything I have said about signings from other clubs is just wild speculation based upon how the Steelers media (that is Simms) was bigging up todays events.
Not heard any rumours from anyone, and import moves between top clubs happens rarely these days. I cant say I'm feeling the love for the day so far, but may just be I'm a tired, grumpy old man!
Re-signing Vally is a masterstroke. Just beat out Eberle as player of year for me. No doubt the other two in the terrible trio-Deluca and Eberle to follow.

Very happy to have Vally returning for next season, but the shambles that is our media department is so embarrassing. Drinks in breweries come to mind.
