Game On

Simple fact is,,, score more goals than your opponents then you win, am not bothered how those goals came about, face off, lucky rebound etc, up to the players on the ice to put the puck in opposing teams net one way or another,,,,

Faceoffs period 2 17-10 much better, now just poor instead of dreadful

Game On

Expected this to be toughest game of the 3 providing fife had certain players back in their line up which they have, so at the moment no big suprise with score after 2 periods

Sadly we are letting them score from the slot whereas we are being pushed to the outside. It’s a poor performance all round

For me the faceoff issue sits with Fox.

We either don't have players who are strong at faceoffs or the players who are strong at faceoffs are being put at a disadvantage by our tactics.

Both are down to the coach.

I can't see Tony Smith making a change, but if this awful form continues until the end of the season he'll have to consider it. I like Fox, but his Grandslam credit only lasts for so long.

Heard is -3 tonight. He adds a bit of attitude, but for me his overall contribution isn't good enough, especially if he's no longer able to win faceoffs.

Regards

Dont jump on me for this..... but serious question.! at what point does Fox start thinking his job isn't safe...? :hey:
When there is a significant drop in attendances maybe? TS has gone to a lot of trouble building this part of his business. I think he will only take a hit in his pocket for so long. If this implosion continues perhaps a new coach next season?
