In my mind I always had Juusola and Tait on the same line, but I did see the following suggestion which I quite liked:

Juusola/Harper/Balmas
Jasper/Pu/Gentile
Seitz/Dowd/Tait
Shudra/Tremblay/Neilson

I think that keeps the players in their favoured position, although I've never been completely convinced by Balmas and Juusola together.

Plenty of options for Fox to work with.

Looking at those, I could see Seitz and Jasper switching. Pu seems to be more creative (given assists generally higher in his stats), Seitz scores and creates well, and Gentile was described as that guy who always seems to find soft areas and gets open. Seitz also brings a bit of grit to that line, which we would also then have on the 1st with Harper, and on the 3rd with Dowd (also get the feeling Jasper isn't a shrinking violet despite lack of size).

Another 2 way player added with Kyle Watson joining the Dogs from NCAA III. Sheffield junior, been in the USA for 9 years.

Kyle Watson was on par with Liam Kirk when they were in the juniors.

Does anyone know what Kyle Watson’s number will be for the Steelers? I can remember him sitting near to me watching and cheering the Steelers when he was a lad.

At junior level both Kieran Brown and Alex Graham put up much bigger numbers than Kirk.

It seems Kirk just kept developing at a fast rate in his late teens and early twenties, whereas Brown has plateaued out.

Sadly we'll never know how far Graham could have gone.

Good to see Davey Phillips back in Sheffield with the Dogs.

The Dogs are looking a very solid team for next season. A few quality Brits and what appears to be some of the better imports in NIHL. Leeds will be the team to beat, but I could see Dogs getting much closer.

I've started watching some of the video from the shirt launch. It looked like a good night and there seems to be a real good vibe between the clubs.

I know he's not the favourite on here, but I also think Simms is a superb host of these events.

He'll wear #23 for the Dogs. Not sure about when he gets called up.
