Cardiff have added former Steelers centreman Andreas Valdix as injury cover for tough winger Brandon McNally who’s out for approx 4 weeks.

He’ll ice in the CHL with the Devils this week.

Solid, experienced centreman with good EIHL experience.

Manchester have added 6”1” Canadian centreman Tayler Thompson.

https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/6 ... r-thompson

The 28 year old joins his first club of the season after icing just twice in the disrupted 20/21 season for his local Sask East Hockey League side the Bredenbury Cougars.

He has made 139 ECHL appearances for the Norfolk Admirals & Orlando Solar Bears.

He has made a few firsts into Europe in the French & Czech 2nd tiers with Albatros de Brest & Piráti Chomutov, lasting just 3 & 4 games respectively before heading back to North America.
