Well its five past clan

First thing to say is we have the best netminder in the league. They don’t.

It was a dreadful end for a Clan team that had looked so good. A whole series of penalties including 5 + game for spearing Dowd. He looked really poorly and went down the tunnel. Well we looked a lot better that period. This team has become an enigma. It’s increasingly hard to understand them. In the early two periods there were only glimpses of what they can do. The third was a different matter. It must be very difficult to coach them.

To be fair there was some bad luck early on. Watling had an empty net and broke his stick is one obvious example. But there is no disguising the fact that we were poor.

I hope Dowd and Golod are better tomorrow. We will need them both I suspect.

Get in... It's never over till it's over.. I hate to be over critical when we're clearly struggling and and by the same measure I don't go over the top when we are doing well.
This team and our coach deserve at the very least the fans cutting them some slack.
Maybe some fans would consider counting to 10 before knee jerk reactions every time it we are less than perfect..

I understand what you’re saying Jay. But this team is now 4th in the league. I think we’ve cut them a good deal of slack. You have to report what you see. Tonight for two periods they were distinctly second best to a team at the bottom of the league. If we hadn’t had Greenfield we would probably been 4 down at the end of the second. It wasn’t just poor it was dreadful. This has been happening for half the season so far. We are all behind them but there is no point whatever in putting some invented gloss on it when you are reporting to people who haven’t been watching.

When your offering an opinion on something you're watching that others are too, I find it hard not to think everyone watching is seeing the same thing as me... I've learnt over the years that although I trust my own judgement I can rather quickly voice it before I've considered the things I didn't know, and recently I've felt better for allowing time to pass before I offer an opinion.
Sometimes my opinion didn't change, but on occasion it did and I glad it did...

I don't think everything is perfect, far from it.. But we have plenty yet to play for...
