GAME THREAD: Steelers v. Flyers. Sat, 29th Feb.

The Officials for tonight game are:

Referees: Shayne Alyward and Chris Wells

Linesmen: Danny Beresford and Ryan Fraley

Tbf it really doesn’t matter who is calling the game as long as we do our jobs and don’t take daft penalties.

Don’t give the officials an excuse to call you. Simple.

Unfortunately every little tip and tap on one of our mega stars seems to meet with over reactions from a lot of our fans even though there is nothing to call and all of a sudden the ‘refs are biased’ accusations start getting wheeled out.

A good start, get on the board early and we shouldn’t have any problems.

You do realise most of it is just to put pressure on the refs happens in sporting arenas all around the world not just here

I do realise that yes.
I also know when fans are genuinely clueless to why something has been called but still see fit to pantomime style booing and shouting.
Anyway back to the game.

Collection for the food bank again tonight. Wish I had know about it. Judging by how little they have collected not many people did know. Spoke to the men on the desk next collection will be on 14th March. Let's hope we can do a better job then.
