Overall I thought it was an average performance.

Dowd, Juusola and Watling are currently carrying us in the forwards, although I thought Simpson was good tonight.

I was thinking if we play like this next weekend we'll get battered, but you look at the other results tonight and Belfast scrape past Manchester, Cardiff hang on 5 - 4 against Dundee and even though Notts won 3 - 0 they were heavily out shot by Guildford.

It's a weird old league with no outstanding candidate. Hopefully we'll be the best of the bunch, but I'd like to see us mix it up a bit more and the likes of Nicholls and Vally join the party.

Regards

Well top of the league so it seems harsh to criticise but I will. This team has a fundamental flaw and I think it is a coaching issue. They just cannot play to the game situation. 2 goals up and we play a ridiculous speculative long diagonal pass that gets intercepted and Fife score. This sort of thing is happening far too often. Come Fox, get a grip and sort it out. Adjust play to the game situation instead brianless giveaways when we are in command. Ok I don’t mean sit back and defend just don’t take silly risks.

Game On

Well it is a win, made hard work of it though, credit to a short benched fife, would like us to get back to the early few games of the season type hockey where we had that physical edge

Just looked at the player stats, Fife only had one less player than us so not that short benched I guess?

I do think losing Petgrave then Jones has unbalanced our defence even if we do have the numbers overall. I'd much rather have Shudra up front with the form he was in.

I’m going to guess that this isn’t a barnstormer but has plenty of goals if that’s a definition of a barnstormer for some.

I reckon from reading the comments I personally would still have enjoyed wrapping my Christmas present more.
