Steelers go 2 goals clear as Scott Allen hits a double....
Flames 1-3 Steelers
Steelers also hit the metalwork twice tonight....

Whilst Guildford have had the best chances and most shots. They’re not very good.
Should be a straight forward win for the Steelers.
A better side would have buried us.
As it is we’re winning 3-1. All will be well now.
A lot to work on still IMO. I’m not getting excited beating a poor Guildford side.

The old saying you can only beat what is in front of you. The Steelers did just that.
Thought Greenfield played well especially with the accidental net push off. He was my MOM.
Allen looks a good signing and is decent in the draw.
Petgrave doesn’t do anything for me though at the moment. Supposed to be a marquee defender in the EIHL Fox said.
Anyway, the Steelers maintain their 100% record winning in Guildford. Or at least that’s what the commentary team said.

Strange how we all see things. I see Petgrave head n shoulders our best defendersmbmetal wrote: ↑Sun Sep 11, 2022 8:36 pmThe old saying you can only beat what is in front of you. The Steelers did just that.

A much better performance.
Still a bit soft in our D zone but we worked hard there. Still need much to come from the forwards-all bar Allen who has been my MOM in both weekend games. Strong on puck, goals, face off wins galore, feisty and in their faces. A bit of a throwback to Steelers of old/old time hockey player. Love to see it. I worry about Raska, he doesn't like the physical stuff and gets knocked off the puck and not really seeing anything of substance from Neumann. Bits and pieces everywhere else. A lot to work on, a lot of players will need to really get going.
Greenfield excellent again. Barring injury i cant see Ostlund getting much starting opportunties when he is fit [do we know the score with him yet].
