I said it was not over, and that proved true as a flat Steelers side were outworked by a resurgent Nottingham.

Eberle banged in a key goal late on to keep a 2 goal lead going into the third. 4-2.

We’re currently operating a 3 man system as Dean Smith was boarded by a Nottingham forward and went down hard.

As it stands we are 8 points clear of 2nd place Cardiff & 9 points clear of 3rd place Belfast but Belfast do have 3 games in hand on the Steelers.

That 4th goal at the end of the 2nd period was vital.
