I've been conditioned, over time, into associating "Sweet Caroline" with things going badly on ice, because thats when they play it, to "give the fans a lift"
So I expect Caroline will be getting quite a few plays tonight.

It was very terse, I'm not sure why the club felt the need to release the news until the results of the second test were in. They could have simply scratched him from the roster with no comment. We've enough injuries at the minute that noone would bat an eyelid.steeler pete wrote: ↑Sat Nov 27, 2021 10:44 pmMay be so but the club’s statement seems very terse. Think we all should be unimpressed.
I think unless he can show there’s a very good reason it won’t end positively for him. Left us in even more of a hole.
If, and that is a small word but with big meaning, it is confirmed that he has failed a drugs test, then throwing him to the wolves as you describe it is exactly what he deserves. I would be surprised if it wasn't made clear to the Steelers players at the pre-season induction day what the expectations and no-no's are.wakefieldsteelersfan wrote: ↑Sat Nov 27, 2021 11:45 pmIt was very terse, I'm not sure why the club felt the need to release the news until the results of the second test were in. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but appears they know he'll fail the second test and are throwing him to the wolves early.
