I remember when games against the Devils used to be exciting.

Not this one.
perhaps its just me but none of the games seem exciting anymore
It's not just you.
It's all very technical, but lacks heart and passion.

Oh for a Mike Peron.

That last 15 mins was excruciating to watch... We just sat back and invited them to try and score... to see out a boring period to hold on for the win.. periods 1 and 2.. I actually liked.. period 3 I thought was garbage.. when we should have gone in to finish them off..

Game On

2 evenly matched teams and style overall, not my type of hockey [ bland and tame ]but thats how it is mainly these days. Cant say i have seen anything about this team that excites me or any particular player that makes me think he is a game changer, A win though so cannot knock that. Noticed a fair few emtpy seats scattered about which for a saturday and against the devils shows that people are thinking more about what they spend their money on,,,,,

They may have a point but……
They don't have a point.
I know what you mean but whether you agree or not, they have a point. It may be one you might contest. That’s fair enough.

Decent game tbf. Not a classic but...

Hockey aside that PA system is starting to make me feel ill.
According to the awful announcer in the programme they have improved the speakers this week. Not so, I’m afraid, they are definitely even worse.

I was fortunate to get to know him quite well. His character off the ice was just the same. He was great fun.

Well I enjoyed it. Two evenly matched teams . Greenfield probably the difference between the two. The sound system is now becoming very annoying , loud and intrusive. It kept coming on and off like a Norman Collier sketch . ( if you are too young look him up on google./ youtube )
Simmsy sounded like he was in a telephone box, under water and with a peg on his nose.

My grandson was struggling tonight. He was a bit under the weather, he probably shouldn't have gone in hindsight, but he was struggling badly with the sound system and we ended up going downstairs to reception in the first break to get some earplugs.

They were asking us for info as to where we were sat (block 215) as they were monitoring where the complaints were coming from.

You may think they have a point, no they don't, they have a viewpoint which is abhorrent to civilised society and anyone who supports that is not welcome on here. You did not need to make that comment in making a valid point about the problems the protests have caused you while travelling to the game. If you want to discuss these subjects go on the cesspit which used to be called Twitter, not on here.

The sound system is awful. If it needs tuning and balancing they shouldn’t do it during a game.

The team is competent but lacks grit and passion. It’s hard as a fan to be passionate when the team is sterile. They were whacking at Greener with no challenge. Defencemen of the past would have pummelled them for what they did tonight on a couple of occasions.
