So we also didn't have a player like that in the GS team, was that poor recruitment?

Seitz hasn't taken his chance I'd argue - but as I've said, it's not necessarily a player or coach problem and just not worked as it should have on paper.

I would suggest Heard is more a wait and see signing than others because of his rumoured temperament issues and because of his high penalty minutes.

Hopefully he'll be the catalyst to get things going in the forwards and perhaps spark a couple of players who are struggling.

We do seem to be struggling to get some consistency in the forwards, which is backed up by the constant line changes.

A positive to date though is the special teams. In the Challenge Cup our powerplay is currently 21.74% which is ok and our penalty kill is 94.74% which is outstanding.

It would be nice to see some settled forward lines, although that also relies on remaining relatively injury free.

I look forward to seeing where Heard plays and the impact he has.
