Breaking News: Nick Seitz Joins the Flames - Confirmed

Good to get the win, but now we need to start stringing together a few good performances.
So far this season a good performance has often been followed by a very flat effort.
Hopefully Pu and Co can keep this rolling in Glasgow.
One more win out of our two final games and that should be enough for qualification. Two wins and we'll probably be number one seed.
Regards

Much, much better.
Pu has been generally good even without the goals but tonight got his reward. 3 very well taken goals. Jasper continues getting points and Southorn very comfortable.
Special teams great again, 5 on 5 much improved but can do more. Need to keep this rolling

Steelers dropped into roadgame shutdown mode after that first period and controlled the D zone fairly comfortably. The major penalty was fair even if the contact was not intentional, the player is responsible for where their stick is. If we can play like that consistently we'll be ok as Cov are not a poor team and we ran the game most of the time.

Okay, the goals came at a good time and from defensive errors in part, but…they were well taken and the defence played well and took care of the rest. Tansley should stay on defence, thats where he won a grand slam and he is such a steadying influence.
Glad for Cliff Pu as I was starting to doubt his usefulness but I take it all back tonight. Coventry are a handy side who can trip anyone up.
As someone has said already we now need to show consistency by a win in Glasgow.
Foxy will sleep easier tonight . Well done.

Great to get a nice convincing win. Let's hope some of the system type areas have 'clicked' and we start gaining some momentum and confidence.
We should really be winning this one though, with it being our only game of the weekend and Coventry playing in Cardiff the night before.
I agree that Tansey should stay on D. I'd only use him as a forward as a disrupter on the PP.
I guess Seitz day's with us are numbered with him being scratched again?

Given the promotion of the WhatsApp group again today, I suspect it's Heard in/Seitz out this week.
Shame on Seitz but it's obviously just not worked out. Sometimes, it just doesn't work. Better to move on quick and try again.
I was excited about Seitz but he's just not settled in and has not really done anything bar 1 nice assist in Nottingham. This is the difference why say, Pu, stayed in the team even though points weren't coming easily - he actually made other plays (forecheck/backcheck/defensive zone) that were positive contributions.

I look forward to the official explanation on the situation regarding Nick Seitz, if only to understand the reasoning behind such a poor transition into our team.. he is or at least was decent player with the potential to put up good numbers in this league, so apart from fan speculation, its a untold story...
