We gave them that goal but there should’ve been a tripping call for us moments before at the other end.
Lot of potential but still seems a lot of work to do.

Having not watched any of the pre-season games, I was pleased with the deserved win. Poor second period but very good third period making sure of the win.
You can see we don’t yet have the line chemistries yet and I’m not sure on how good how PP will be.
Greenfield certainly carried on with his excellent form and looked excellent.
As mentioned earlier I was surprised one of last season’s EIHL top goal scorers was left out unless he has a niggle of course.
Not sure anyone really stood out from the new signings point of view. Harper was unlucky hitting the bar near the end and I’m not sure I even heard Dougherty mentioned.
Encouraged with the win, but there’s certainly plenty of room for improvement for me.

Good to see Gentile get 2 and Pu get on the board.
The Pu goal was all about the speed of Tait, but he was there to finish it off.
Overall I thought the score flattered us, but we did deserve the win.
The powerplay was poor, but overall I thought we showed a lot of potential. Games in this league aren't easy, as Belfast found out. On to Cardiff next.
