I love the podcasts, I find it really interesting listening to the views of Messrs Spencer, Simms and Fearnley, particularly regarding the link up with the Dogs.

Listening to the latest one I think they've let the cat out of the bag with Greenfield.

Unless I completely got the wrong end of the stick, it seems fairly certain he's re-signed.

I hope that’s correct re Greenfield.

For me, he’s the most important player of any of last season’s squad. He would be my number 1 re-signing priority.

Yeah I think it's pretty much nailed on that Greenfield is returning.

There was a bit where Pete Spencer reffered to the flying Finn - on first listen I thought he meant Juusola, but on listening again it sounded as though Simms thought he was referring to someone else. Wonder if we've got another Finn to keep up our quota now Nev has retired?

He's worth bringing back just for his powerplay shot, although he offered more than just that last season.

I do think we will need to improve on some players though, because our rivals all seem to be spending big and recruiting quality rosters.

Honestly ?, I don't know enough about hockey to put their figures into any real perspective, Juusola looked poor on paper the season before he joined, fortunately we play on ice and he was brilliant for us. Aaron Fox knows far more than I do and you can't really knock his recruiting after last year, as always character makes a huge difference and I'm not sure that is reflected in any stats. Announcement at 10am tomorrow I believe.
