Well that was disappointing. Fair play to Glasgow, they jumped on us quickly and got bodies and sticks in lanes preventing us from creating much.
We also seemed to lose all the key faceoffs. I thought we were building some momentum, but maybe not.
For me the best team won tonight....back to the drawing board for Fox.

Not watched the game as Glasgow are on my do not watch list.
I thought it might be close, but didn’t expect a Glasgow win.
Perhaps the team have half an eye on the Belfast game tomorrow?
A zero point weekend though isn’t ideal if we lose against Belfast.

A big loss that is, nowhere near are best,,,,but clan played an excellent road game and knew how to play us so credit to them. Also i wish we had a player who would stick up for the team when needed, too many teams taking liberties. Got to be on the ball every game otherwise this point gap at the top will keep creeping bigger

Agreed unlike the game on Wed when Guildford did none of that, hence the difference in outcome.
Glasgow also played a heavier more physical game and we do seem to struggle with that. I think they got away with some favourable calls/ non-calls by all the officials (e.g offsides missed, that icing when we were clearly ahead of their D, hooks and holds) but hey I guess we’re not innocent either.
Put it behind us and try to grind out a point or two tomorrow.

Then they wouldn't be professionals worthy to employ if that were the case.
I'd put it down to a bit of complacency. Clan had a bad start to the season, but even then we were dominating face-offs, out-shooting opponents, and boasting a top ranked powerplay. By raw statistics, our negative results weren't tenable to continue, and we came into this one having won our 7 games in the last 9.
Hopefully we'll win more games against the Steelers this season to get back on your watchlist.

As you often hear , any team can beat any other team in this league on the night. I guess thats why we go , to see competitive hockey. Everything went right against Guildford, not so much last night, but having said that Glasgow played extremely well especially in defence. Encapsulated for me when their last defender fell down , was challenged by our winger and still got a pass in !
Makes today’s game very important now, Cardiff keep picking up a point even when they lose !
