My top 5 choices for import returnees would be:

1. Tron
2. Hrabal
3. Vallerand
4. Eberle
5. DeLuca.

There's two or three others also knocking on the door of the top 5, like Connolly.

My top five is as yours Doom, with one exception and I'd replace DeLuca with Connolly.

I think the rest can be easily upgraded and I would terminate Battauer’s contract I’m afraid.

Not sure what thread to stick this on, but Jonas Liwing has confirmed he won't be returning to Sheffield. He still plans to play on.

For me I would change Kolehmainen, Brocklehurst, Liwing and Johnson. If Bettauer wasn't on a 2 year he would be also on my list. If we could re-sign the rest and upgrade the aforementioned, we would have a Cardiff challenging team. unfortunately, I don't think the finances will permit after our current loss of income.

I would definitely keep Connolly, Vally, Eberle, Tron, Hrabal, Dubes, Armstrong and, if possible, Sandström and Davies as imports. Ik that this may well not happen, or be possible, but trust Foxy on making decisions. Keeping the foundations of our current roster with the exception of Kolehmainen, Brocklehurst, Johnson and maybe Lemtyugov. If Bettauer hadn’t signed a 2 yr contract then I would remove him too. With Liwing leaving, and most of our other Ds being not the best( with the exception of Tron, D Phillips, Benny and Hrabal) I would scrap the rest if that was possible, and try get Fitzy back. When it comes to a good D, the bigger the better! Foxy will make all his decisions with the best interest for the club and boys in mind, that much we can be sure of!

Probably not a full season. Maybe a shortened version. But nobody knows. Certainly going to be well into May it oeaks according to experts.

This virus will never go away though. It's here forever just like the flu is after it did this in 1918. Once a vaccination/cure is developed then we'll see life go back to normal. They can't shut the world forever.

Hopefully we can get most of the season in. The play offs would be nice nxt yr tho! Yea who knows where this virus is going, rn I’m supposed to be in ny lol Glad a lot of the boys got home safely and I wish them best of luck for whatever may come, especially those with kids!!

- Offers out to current team members
- Confident of retaining a good core
- Has called current EIHL Brits
- Spoke to Sam Herr last summer
- Hoping he'll only need a few new faces
- Scope for Duba back but only as a B
- Doesn't sound like we'll be seeing Brodeur
- Preparing to go ahead mid-August
