Don’t think Bowns has been at his best all season to be honest.

Great to see Connelly get a goal, great player hope we sign him up for next season.
You do have to wonder if the workload placed upon him these past number of years is starting to bite back. Being number 1 for club and country, with any success rewarded with more games to compete in.

Yeah that could be a very real possibility to be honest. Lots of pressure over a long period of time may bring on tiredness, there only human after all.

Watch him have a stormer in his next game against us!!

Part of that same issue is that there really is no immediate like for like replacement coming through with the rest of the Brit goalies apart from Jackson Whistle...

It's proving very difficult for back up goalies to get regular EIHL lifetime. Be interesting to see the average time for the back up across the league. I thought Murdy may have the ability but he hasn't made the breakthrough as yet.

I haven't seen the attendance figure from last night, but my best guess would be 2,500-3,000. The drapes were down over the end and some side blocks and plenty of seats visible lower down. Very disappointing as the hosts.

Hopefully we'll see more there come the weekend.

Would the attendance have been different in a different venue?

It is still a 5-6 minute walk from the tram stop, which, with the weather forecast, tomorrow may seem twice that.

We should dispatch Estonia. Have to hope Romania can do us a favour in the early game.
