New season tickets all digital
Moderator: Mods
Following my request for more info about how the digital season ticket will work I’ve just had confirmation from Steelers office that it is one downloaded ticket for ALL games. I couldn’t have coped with having to download a new ticket for each game.
I would guess that the club are trying to stop this type of behaviour hence going digital. Probably less likely that you'll borrow a person's phone to get in if they're not there or can't make that game.

It's probably more to do with saving time and cost. If a digital season ticket holder cannot go, the seat isn't re-sellable so no sense to not allow someone to use it as nothing is lost by the club.

But could you pass it on as a printed paper ticket ?
I print every arena ticketmaster digital ticket I buy and have it scanned at the door for the musical events I go to.
It's a good shout that Brian, but not being a season ticket holder myself I couldn't possibly commentBrian wrote: ↑Mon Jul 24, 2023 2:28 pmBut could you pass it on as a printed paper ticket ?

I've had some success with the hub, but...
Is the digital ticket something that can be easily transferred to another person (we miss quite a few games and our daughter uses them sometimes) and my hub account has two tickets on it and we'll need them dropping onto two phones to allow separate access.
Also, how long does the office take to reply to emails? (Three days and counting so far!)
Thanks.

Between 30 minutes and never, depending on who you are, who you emailed, the topic of your email... judging by some of the past posts on this forum..Disguised wrote:I've had some success with the hub, but...

We were really impressed how the steelers organisation helped us then renewing our season ticket!.
When we wanted to purchase the £5 physical ticket needed some help.
Struggled along and managed to get my husbands sorted ,but not mine .We to emailed the steelers, one to the office and one
to Danny Bisby but after 3 days still not had a reply .We are season ticket holders of 32 years and are of a certain age so do need help from time to time . I find it quite annoying the the organisation have had season ticket money since March and now we need help no one seemingly interested.
Regards

Ive gone the digital option.
Saved it as a .png on my phone and on google drive so I should be able to access it on any other mobile device if I forget my phone.
I might print a copy and keep it in my wallet just in case.
I dont see why you cant have both options, if your ticket qr-code has been scanned then it should prevent the other version being used, so whats the problem with allowing people to have both versions ?
