I hear that we will not have either Mclaughlin or Warburton today, with a backup pulled from a lower league team (sorry don't have details). We really should have had one of those two guys in to give Greenfield a rest and them some more experience.

Might have chance next weekend as it’s yet another CC game against Nottingham I think. Then we go to Guildford in the league the day after.

I know which game I’d be resting players on.

Was hoping we’d see a backup in this weekend to be honest. Let’s hope we don’t burn Greenfield out when we’ll be needing him at his best later in the season when the games get even more important.

I guess with home games people have paid hard earned money so I can understand why we would play with a stronger team.

Away from home though like last night’s game in Nottingham, I thought we’d play a backup. Not sure how backup netminders can develop if even in less important games we don’t play them.
