Dundee Head Coach/GM Omar Pacha has left the club to take up a CEO position with another EIHL club, rumoured to be Nottingham.

Dundee have a replacement in place and will announce later this week/early next.

Pacha spent 5 years in Dundee following spells in Hull & Manchester culminating in reaching this years playoff final 4 after our poor showing in the quarter finals.

Obviously Panthers makes sense but.
Could there be a surprise and Pacha come to Steelers, recruit young players from North America and let Fox concentrate on coaching?
He recruits well, understands the uk game and would let Fox concentrate on the main role?

I think we could use done along those lines, but my guess is that Panthers and Pacha is a done deal.

So with Storm "losing Finnerty, Pacha seemingly going to Panthers, Giants and Devils success this year, the competition is going to be even tougher next year.
Going to be hard for Fox and Co to get that league title we keep on aiming for.

Unsurprisingly, Nottingham have relieved Guillaume Doucet of his Director of Hockey duties.

Although winning the Elite Series, Doucet recruited a poor side relative to the other 3 challengers whilst allegedly spending the same money.

The former Hull, Cardiff & Milton Keynes sniper was in charge of recruiting, with input from then head coach Tim Wallace.

It’s expected Omar Pacha will replace him.

Omar Pacha has indeed been appointed as CEO of Nottingham.

The former Hull, Manchester & Dundee man will get his first shot at an arena side and is already working on the appointment of a Head Coach.

It'll be interesting to see what sort of a fist he makes of it. Can he change the current attitude, or will it prove to be a poisoned chalice? The league needs a Panthers team that is challenging for trophies.

Posted by Panthers and then, according to Twitter, taken down. Their PR is as bad as ours.

Seems a little surprising to be made CEO, no?

I would've thought he'd make a good head coach in Notts, given his success at Dundee...

Manchester netminder Matt Ginn has retired from playing aged 31 and taken the Head Coaching position at the club.

He iced 143 times for the club.

Ginn coaching the netminder will be a cinch. Hey, if the opposition are threatening to score, push the flipping net off!
