That was a dreadful watch. It doesn’t help Fife are below average, but hockey has gone so soft.
Great win after yesterday, but I was bored out of my mind

An average performance in an average game against a poor side.
What did we learn? Owen is v good, otherwise Flyers are bang average.
It was only the five minute major that really enable us to run away with the game. Offensively we still look to be finding our feet. I think back to basics getting pucks on net looking for rebounds and redirections is needed because the fancy skill play isn't working.
I thought Brust was pretty decent, there goals game from poor d zone play by a few of our d men. I think Rok with the form he Is in may have saved one if not both.
I still feel like we are only playing about 65-70% of where we can get too.
I thought we had a tougher team this year but appear to be wrong. Haas was taking liberties last week without challenge and no-one took it upon them self to make the Flyer guy pay the price for the hit on davey.

Totally unstimulating game. With one or two exceptions we looked flat and lacking inspiration. Fife did their best to defend and block passing lanes, and when we did have a shot on goal, we seemed to be seeing how close we could get, without actually scoring. The most entertaining part of the evening was the Eddy, although I'm not sure running down the steps was a good idea!

He was taking liberties again last night in Belfast too. Out and out goon, one who would fit right in across them Pennines.paul johnston wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 9:21 pmI thought we had a tougher team this year but appear to be wrong.
