In recent weeks we have had a line in Heard, Harper, Ritchie that would almost guarantee you one or more goals. It has been split up. We now have 3 1/2 lines all misfiring. McAdam is doing well and needing to. Other than that it all feels rather disjointed and even in a major pen we failed to create one really grade A chance.

If you get a breakaway who do you want on the end of it? 92 of course. He’s just magic!

It seems that every time we lose a game the forward lines get shuffled.

How does that build chemistry?

As noted above, the Ritchie/Heard/Harper line was doing well, but one bad defeat and it's split up.

I like Fox, but he makes it hard for me to want to stick with him.

Regards

Spot on. In particular Harper just looks lost tonight.

We didn’t have one line tonight that looked top notch. I agree with Doom. I too have been a big supporter of Fox, but I’m afraid he is losing me. That looked disjointed and second rate. Tracker had us ahead but all our shots on goal were either high or wide or straight into the netminder’s chest. Our problem in the awful defeat to Panthers was awful defending in the first period. Our problem tonight was of lines that looked like strangers and poor passing and shooting.

As a matter to round it off, our OT play was poor. Possession is everything in 3 on 3. We shot when there was little chance of scoring and gave the puck away.

Are we having another meltdown? We go from scoring for fun to a goal drought. I can’t see why Fox would want to see that.
