If Blazer isnt number 1, then where are the old timers? The hockey & teams he produced where glorious to watch.
I feel for those who didn't get to witness "That" Grand Slam team.... WOW! They had it ALL!

Loved the Alex Dampier and Mike Blaisdell teams growing up as a youngster.
Without a doubt I think the most exciting season I have seen as an adult was the Ben Simon season and that'll take some beating for me. Love the hockey that year.
Enjoyed the 07/08 and 08/09 seasons under Dave Matsos. Some real characters in those teams with plenty of entertainment on and off the ice. I know not many were a fan of the style of hockey but as long as we were winning I was happy.
Seem to remember the Gerad Adams hockey being entertaining and he should realistically have been given a lot longer before being booted out for Paul Thompson.
Fox hockey has been hit and miss for me and haven't particularly enjoyed the last half of this season!

Adams’ sacking was the worst thing our club have done. I can’t recall any team in any sport who sack a coach straight after he lifts the league trophy. As far as I can see Gerad and Neil Able were stabbed in the back purely to satisfy an agenda to get PT in. Look how that stunt turned out.Richard Parker wrote: ↑Thu Apr 28, 2022 12:47 pm
