Disappointed but still believe Fox is the right man for next season , we have been decimated by injuries to key players and been let down by a couple of others. The season could have been much better without that.

He can’t grab their hockey sticks and put it in the net for them or stop them making basic errors.

Work to do in the market though as we’ll need wholesale changes to our playing staff to compete for titles.
So who picks the?team, sets the plays and sends them out to play ?

We lost tonight because our players can’t manage the puck or defend competently position wise. Fox can’t control that the players need to take responsibility and I hope we don’t see many of the imports in Orange again.
Take your roses off buddy. Who is in charge off all this. If the player's won't listen to him then we need someone that will get them too. He picked them not me, not you. He did so if he can't get players to listen to him then he has to go and get some in that can.

I’m not on about the players acting on instructions that would be a completely different and more concerning issue.

I’m on about pro players, some who have iced at the very highest levels, making poor decisions both on and off the puck. Fox can’t babysit them through every play.

I doubt there’s anyone more gutted and concerned than Fox at the moment.

Not only has his team failed in all 3 competitions he knows he’s under pressure. I expect Smith will be looking for some kind of plan tonight.

I think he deserves a chance. I think he’s done the best he could with what he’s got and the things the season’s thrown at him. But he’ll need to make some positive moves to restore some confidence.

He's done the best with what he's got? I'd argue with that. He has a great arena, budget (? Biggest in league), biggest support. He has one dimensional recruitment and tactics, and in his first covid shortened season, the elite series and this full season we have flattered to deceive and have run out of steam as the competitions/seasons have got to the crunch stage on each occasion.

Well done and good luck to Dundee by the way, they pushed us hard to win that as they have all season. Our failure has been down to their success.

I'm putting my retained/re-signing list together atm.

There's not much ink on the page...

Completely agree. He's had 3 seasons if you count the covid one. If you want to be like nottingham then let's keep the mediocre fox/ Neilson type of coach. I would prefer a coach that can change plays and make a difference.

Second that. All the best to them. They’ve done us.
