Presumably a last minute conformation!
As the last confirmed first Home game back after Covid Protocols would have been the midweek fixture against the Fife Flyers on wednesday 12th..

I notice it says the majority of steelers are fit to play. That is presumably coded message that means we have a lot of injuries. Let’s hope we have a big enough squad to avoid further injuries from over shifting
It's on the season ticket, this is from the email they sent me
Steelers vs Guildford Flames - Sunday 9th January, 4pm
Following the great news that the Steelers are now fit to play having being released from Covid protocol, and to help cope with the disruption caused to the Elite League fixtures over the past few weeks, the Steelers will now be facing the Guildford Flames this Sunday in a 4pm face off.
Guildford were due to face Glasgow Clan this Sunday before the game was postponed, leading to both the Flames and the Steelers being available to fulfil a fixture.
This is a season ticket fixture, so season ticket holders do not need to purchase tickets, and your season ticket card will be activated as normal.
All other supporters can purchase game tickets now!
It will be our first home fixture at the Utilita Arena since our Boxing Day triumph over Nottingham Panthers, and we hope to enjoy your fantastic support as the whole league pulls together to get through a difficult period in the season.
The Steelers would like to express our thanks in advance for your understanding, as we have been working hard behind the scenes alongside the Sheffield Arena to come up with the best possible solution to the current fixture schedule issues.
The fixture has been brought forward from Sunday 20th March.
We will also be wearing our special Christmas shirt that was due to be worn on Sunday 2nd January in the cancelled fixture against Manchester Storm. All shirts will be raffled off on Sunday evening at the game.

I get they need to start playing again, but it means I lose another game off my season ticket as I have plans for Sunday and can’t attend. If other games are moved to midweek I’ll miss those too
On balance a season ticket was not a good investment this year.

I’m not a season ticket holder but I really have full sympathy with how moving games around will make your ticket not value for money if you’re not able to make the re-arranged games.Shaun wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 2:15 pmI get they need to start playing again, but it means I lose another game off my season ticket as I have plans for Sunday and can’t attend. Unfortunately, there was always a risk buying a season ticket that covid or variant(s) could return putting pressure on our freedoms etc. The same risk will be the same for seasons to come or while ever covid is around.
My issue is the club doesn’t appear to want to offer season ticket holders any incentives or free streams of games as an example. In my humble opinion suggestions like this our club see’s as a pain in the bottom and are surprised at the suggestion of such a thing.
They’re great at telling us to join Dundee’s 50/50, but I’ve still no further information about refunding single game tickets for the Manchester game, I won’t be going to the re-arranged game so should have the option to be refunded within a few days of the cancellation. Customer service is very poor. Not sure I can be bothered to go to any further games this season.

Top of the form table over the last 10 games v the bottom. Guildford have been very poor of late and we should beat them. They’ve lost 5 straight and won just once in the last 9.
They have picked up just 4 points away from home all year, although half were against us.
Not your typical Guildford side this season.
