I’ve not seen one, but that is the type of statement Steelers needed to make with DeLuca. I still don’t know he’s left officially.

If the clubs original media release had been a little more than one cursory line saying that he was released with immediate effect, then they could have avoided a great deal of the online speculation that followed.. similar to the way we also dealt with the DeLuca drug incident.

When will clubs learn? by keeping the fans in the dark and feeding them on crap, they often get crap back 10 fold..

If Todd Kelman felt so passionate about his reasons for letting Ben go, he should have made it clear to start with, all that statement confirms to me is, that he as seen the speculation and obvious poor comments and realise it was mainly the clubs lack of media savvy that caused it...
