British D Man, puts up points, decent offensive D man, I'd take him back for the season.

This won't happen at all. I'm not sure where he fits in our line up, plus he had a bust up with Fox.

I'm genuinely sorry that things seem to have gone so wrong for Ben. Having said that, I wouldn't take him back. Last season his concentration levels were awful. Too many cross ice passes in the defensive zone, no-look passes to no one in particular. Getting too far into the offensive zone and leaving Davey and a.n. other to sort it out. I'm sure he'll find a berth somewhere. Best of luck to him.BontSteeler wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 3:53 pmBritish D Man, puts up points, decent offensive D man, I'd take him back for the season.

More likely to end up with our nearest and dearest I reckon.
I think he'd actually make a decent forward, because he does have good vision and an excellent pass.
Would have to be for the right money though.
Didn't Colin Shields (or Jonathan Weaver) switch to a forward and put up big numbers (or was it the other way around)?
Regards
Doom

Very strange what has happened, a few days before Xmas sure shows there is no sentiment. Did he walk or was he pushed.
He was easily the best UK d man at the Worlds. Im not sure why he doesn't dominate these days at eihl level. I've always thought with the offensive d man tag he tries to create too much offence, overplays and forgets his main defensive responsibilities too much.
It's sad how it's panned out for him. I remember the joy he seemed to feel, let alone the fans, when he first signed for us.
